Im on my way to do this proj. I will be submitting my mock design one of these days.
I'm confused about the logo, please just upload the right logo, thanks.
Hi there,
I want to work with you on this project and i would like to know if you are willing to evaluate a design by the submission of the homepage alone.
As you know the homepage will set the theme for all the website pages, so there is no advantage on submitting all the pages in one go before having the homepage approved.
Does this make sense to you?
Best Regards,
Paulo
Yes Paulo I agree. If we like the home page- since this is a simple, no e-commerce website... the next 4 pages should have the same theme, just a few difference boxes/images and text. So we can tell if we like it from just a homepage submission. I agree with all four of your "don't points"on your profile, so we are on the same page. The $300 (which is all we have to offer since we are a NEW company and have spent all our money on the development of the product) is for the winner of the homepage we like the most. We will make a decision this Friday- so there will be a winner announced Friday as we want the site to go live with the winner's design over the weekend. The product will hit the market in one week, so all references are for a product NOW on the market. We just applied for the patent. I am assuming that if we chose, say your design, that you would be able to supply me with the rest of the other pages and I would have the ability to add and subtract text and photos as we make more products available to the farmers. What format are you designing in? Ai? Quark? Corel? I am the wife of the inventor and he put me in charge of web and marketing. This is a family business with the family team being only two people right now. If we like your design we will not lead a designer on. If we say you are in the running, you truly are. If we say, we like you design the BEST so far, then you are WAY in the lead and asking for some revisions would not be a waste of your time. I would not ask for revisions unless the person had a chance to win. Hope that helps. We hope to see your submission. Thanks for contacting me.

Thank you look forward to seeing your design. Only need the home page look for now. If we think you will win then you can finish the other 4 pages. No e-commerce. Hope to see your web design for UdderOne™ by this Friday deadline,
April 11. Thank you.

There is a conflict with which logo we should go with. Just try working with both of them and if we like your design we can elminate one of the logos for the other. There are three. SInce it's a new product we are trying to figure out which logo works best for the website. So you will not be wrong to include them all at some point.
Does this answer help? Thanks

Hi Lisa,
For web projects i tend to use only Photoshop, with some incursions to AI to get some icon done.
I actually use Quark, Corel and inDesign in print projects, although nowadays i never start a new project with Quark or Corel unless in am specifically asked to.
I know first hand how familly businesses are stressfull and way more demanding that a "regular" setup for a business. So i wish you both the best of luck.
I will be submitting an initial draft within the next 12h.
Best Regards,
Paulo
Hi, Just want to clarify that your budget is only for design file(.psd) only?
Kind Regards,
JM
What's the difference? I am not familiar with the options. I need the files so that I can upload them to my GoDaddy.com account and host thru them. I'd like the option of adding content as I see fit and changing photos as needed in the future. I would have the files setup and saved using a programming language such as php or html according to godaddy.com and upload to the hosting then.
Thanks

Hi Lisa,
Design contest deliverables are PSD files.
Development is another issue completely and it seems that its that what you talking about. You have to take the winning design (preferably PSD file) and deliver it to a developer to develop the website.
I am a designer at Modulus Web Design so i can have this done for you, but will require a budget of its own.
Let me know.
Best Regards,
Paulo
