Logo Design Brief
Enterprise Distributed Technologies is an international software development company based in Brisbane, Australia delivering secure, managed file transfer solutions.
The company's lead product is CompleteFTP - a high-performance Windows secure file server supporting FTP, FTPS, SFTP and SCP. Recent product extensions provide the ability to share files securely online without needing to rely on consumer oriented file sharing options.
Given the highly technical nature of these products, the primary audience for this firm is System Administrators and IT Managers/CIOs in medium to large business enterprises across a variety of industries worldwide (largely English speaking). Performance on file transfer security (SFTP and FTPS) drive product selection decisions, followed by reliability, ease of use and ease of installation.
After 15 years in business, Enterprise Distributed Technologies is seeking a new logo to spearhead a major overhaul of their online presence and marketing strategy.
Requirements for the new logo include:
- the words EnterpriseDT
- a visual element
- optional inclusion of the tagline "Secure file transfer & sharing"
- should be landscape rather than portrait orientation
Ideally, we would like this logo design process to incorporate selection of a colour palette and font choices for web and marketing materials.
