Web Design Brief

We need a website design for a polling website called pollsr.com. This will be a website where visitors can take and create polls for various topics along with view results. We want something really simple and "web 2.0." We are going to make a cell phone app that goes along with the website and we want the look and feel of the website to be very "app-like." Basically that means minimalistic design with a poll being the center of the page.

When someone comes to the site, we want them to see basically just a poll in the center of the screen and a toolbar at the top of the page with links to login fields/user profile, post a new poll, view friends list, a drop-down list of poll topics, and a search bar. We need about three pages mocked up: a home page/poll view page, a user control panel/profile page, a submit new poll page.

We also want our logo/header to have a "pulse" theme. The name pollsr is supposed to be a play on the word pulse, we'd like the logo to make that obvious, maybe the use of the EKG graph could work.

We also want a nice tab in the corner to sign up that is attractive and flashy, kind of like the feedback tab on the side of this website.
