Brochure Design Brief

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE FIRST OF SEVERAL DOCS WE WILL NEED....the right designer would likely be the professional we use for future work too.

We are launching a new executive coaching site the first week of April. We have decided to use a document entitled

Ready to Grow? Common obstacles to avoid in your growth strategy

We need a designer to format this document so that we can use it as a free, downloadable PDF on the new site. The free download should brand the following:

- the website coachbridgettechambers.com
- the possibility of working with Bridgette Chambers as an executive coach or growth strategist.

We want a professional, clean look. I have included a few images that are loaded into the "ready to grow" docx attached which requires formatting and design.

please embed a link for http://coachbridgettechambers.com/
If you think you can make it look good, I have also attached a head shot and a bio that can be included with smaller fonts and less attention....but in a manner that will create confidence about the content provided and excitement about getting more info from Bridgette.

We have a short time line - so please ask any questions right away. Also, I have attached a screen shot from the site the pdf will be downloaded from (still in development) so consider use of color and fonts.

Please include contact info on the pages via a foot or some other convention that you think looks great and professional.

The contact info required is some type of foot or contact convention. The contact info should include the website url (coachbridgettechambers.com), the email (customerservice@coachbridgettechambers), my Twitter handle with a follow me link (@bridgchambers), and my LinkedIn profile - a join my network link (www.linkedin.com/in/bridgettechambers)

PLEASE VIEW THE UPDATES TO ALL DEVELOPERS as I have been posting notes after reviewing submissions to help everyone with our expectations.

Updates

Hello!
Some feedback after a few questions and designs:

1. In the original instructions I selected some colors. Please do not try to use them all in one document. Rather, consider the selections as three families of colors (lighter/darker) and use one.  That is not to say you shouldn't use color in addition to these selections if you think it adds to the elegance or the professional look.

2. Another note about color - please don't over use it. A title page for a white paper often has clean, white space.

I am attached a copy of a white paper we produced earlier this year....consider this a good guide. See the docs section.

#3 One more thing to note....the images that I uploaded are also set out in the word docx to be formatted in relationship to the narrative - it is related to the corporate blunder being referenced.  Please do not consider the twitter post images, the broken chain, and the sale image general images for placement. Rather I am looking for you to incorporate them in with the specific narrative they relate to in a smart way to increase the perspective of the reader.

Requirements
Must have
  • smart bold clean look

Please include contact info on the pages via a foot or some other convention that you think looks great and professional.

Nice to have
  • Feel free to incorporate additional images not provided.

The images that have been included are related to specific parts of the narrative - please do not use them for general placement, but rather, to help make the point of each corporate lesson.
Should not have
  • anything too "young". This is an advertisement/lead generation piece for established professionals.

Please do not make a solid color background, as this is not friendly to printing. Use colors but also use a smart amount of white space.

Please do not overload the content pages - look at the All in One Marketing White paper we uploaded to see how the text format alternates in the inner content pages. This keeps the reader from feeling overwhelmed with too much content. It is very important.
