Logo Design Brief

Hi, I'm Joe from Hydralast and we need your help with developing a logo for our sports endurance drink, its sold in powder in a stand up pouch, and you mix it with water to get your perfect isotonic drink ready.

Regarding the logo, we want to see a 3 headed hydra wrapped around a water droplet, we also prefer a flat design, without to much complexity or tracing in the hydra heads.

About the logo and objectives/values to communicate:

HYDRALAST is a new generation endurance and electrolyte sports drink, it's energy effects last longer and you remain more hidrated while you practice sports thus being able to last longer in endurance. Hydralast is both the logo and name of the product, it will also be used to brand merchandise such as t-shirts and water bottles.

You have free creative liberty has long has you use an hydra on the design, but font wise I prefere Helvetica (and you should to), you can cstumize the font or use another font if needed, but please always deliver a variation of the logo with the Helvetica font.

VERY IMPORTANT:

Ok thank you, remember to connect 2 concepts or more, this is an endurance sports drink, like powerade but ours has better hidration properties and makes you last longer, more hidrated and a faster hidration, process that results in better performance as an athlete.

- If you think about it there are several underlying concepts, so we need to cross them and make our logo unique and memorable, remember, make it simple, but cross 2 concepts that work togheter.

- The design must be readable in small sizes (when shrunk to really small sizes like ex: 50x120px or 150x150px)

- It also needs to be totally readable and perceptible in just one color, that doesnt means you are limited to one color, it means the logo must also work if tinted in just one color (like black on a white bg), so that in some ocasions where I can only print one color, the logo is still usable.

Here is another example of what I'm trying to achieve. Unfornutaly my skills with tracing images or using the path tool are awfull, if you can do a creative image path that "merges" an hydra and her 3 heads forming a water droplet, you will have the winning design.
