I would like a logo design for... myself. After several years as a creative in big advertising agencies I am setting up my own business. Well, that sounds a bit too grand to be honest. I am going freelance, but have set up my own company to do it under, mostly just because you pay less tax!
The type of advertising I do is TV ads, press ads, posters, radio and online. I chose the name 'Scamp' because it has a double meaning - it can mean 'a rough concept' in the advertising world, and also a cheeky person (or small dog!) I also used to have a blog that was quite popular in the advertising world, called Scamp, which you can check if you like, it is at scampblog.blogspot.com. There was a logo for that blog but I don't think it's that great.
I am thinking that the logo will just be a treatment of the word 'Scamp', with the s either upper or lower case. I am mostly interested in black, but open-minded about colour options too. It could be typest, or either completely or partially hand-drawn, or appear hand-drawn.
I want it to be modern and a little bit fun. What I definitely don't want is traditional or conservative. It can't be completely juvenile though because at the end of the day I am asking people to pay me money for my professional services.

Requirements
Must have
- Must feature the word 'scamp', with either upper or lower case 's'
Nice to have
- The name 'scamp' refers in the advertising world to a rough concept. These normally are hand-drawn on plain A4 paper, landscape, with a hand-drawn black box around the edge, so I am quite interested in a hand-drawn black box around the word 'scamp'.
The name 'scamp' can also refer to a cheeky person, or a small dog, so it may be an idea to incorporate something dog-related, such as a paw-print, or something else.
However, both the black box and paw-print ideas are optional and not mandatory in any way.
Should not have
- Complexity!
