Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the Ethiopian Seed Growers and Producers Association (ESGPA). The purpose of ESGPA is to support the interest of its members in the production and supply of high quality seed to Ethiopian farmers.
Its members include public and private seed companies, cooperatives and unions involved in the seed production, processing and marketing.

We suggest that the new logo should have a strong message in the following key areas:

1. Simple and easily recognizable logo
2. It must have a clear seed message
3. Have a message that Ethiopia is the centre of origin of major cultivated agricultural crops such as durum wheat, barley, sorghum, pearl millet, cowpea, flax and teff
4. Featuring the source of Blue Nile i.e. important source of water for a vast number of farmers in Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt
5. The Seed Association unites plant breeders-seed producers-processors-seed traders (i.e. illustrated as a chain or link)

6. The logo text can either be ESGPA or Ethiopian Seed Growers and Producers Association
