Logo Design Brief

Darkcoin is a new digital currency like Bitcoin, focusing on privacy, security & anonymity.

We are still a new organisation, so our style is evolving. We need a new logo that will serve as the foundation of a rebranding effort. We are looking for a positive, bright, accessible image emphasising trust, privacy & security. You might draw inspiration from our existing logo (http://darkcoin.io/), or come up with something completely new. We have some community-created art that you might also draw inspiration from: http://imgur.com/a/3LCoa

The design should communicate privacy and security. Simplicity is generally better. As an example: we like vertcoin's logo.

The design may (optionally) incorporate the D-with-downward-slash as per the existing logo, and/or the text "Darkcoin".

Target Market(s)

Our target market includes financial investors, tech-savvy types and ordinary consumers. Currently our primary demographic is 18-40 y.o. tech-savvy males, however with this rebranding effort we are seeking to make our brand more accessible to a wider demographic. Specifically, we want to be more accessible to the average consumer.
