Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for an open source software project in the IT business (software testing & quality assurance). The name of the project is "refineT" which stands for "Testing refined". The name should be an optional part of the logo (so I need one version with name and one without).
The goal of this project is to write a new test software which has two major characteristics:
- being simple and a joy to use
- go back to the roots and simplify testing concepts
Both aspects should somehow be reflected in the logo.
The logo should be well recognizable in 48px size.
In addition to the logo I need a matching color scheme. In the attached screenshot you can see my self designed color scheme. This can be used/enhanced or completely revised. The following colors need to be designed
- Button color for "navigation" buttons (Ex: Button "Test list" in the third screenshot in the pdf)
- Button color for "action" buttons (All the brown buttons in the screenshot)
- Background color (which is the very light brown in the screenshot), the background color which holds the input elements shall be white
- Text color for good readability (but not black)
- 4 label colors: "default" (see screenshot label sample-tag) + pending-state label (see PENDING label in the 4th screenshot in the pdf) + success-state label (must be some kind of green) + error-state label (must be a red)
