Logo Design Brief
Warmilu is a company that is spreading the warmth to prevent infant death from hypothermia in developing countries. We have been supporting our social mission by selling our heat packs in the US. Our initial product is the Instant Heat Pack which provides heat instantly, lasts for hours, and can be reused through boiling (in the developing world) or microwaved in the US. This logo would be used to on these heat packs that are sold to the US heat therapy online and retail market. We are looking for a more abstract logo, one that continues to convey warmth but does not necessarily need to be an infant. Instead, the logo should embody warmth the most. The colors we believe would work best after conducting market research are orange and sunny yellow. We have attached here older logos. The red and white logos were considered back when the initial market was going to be disaster response worldwide and US EMTs. The yellow logos are for the company's social mission and infant warming blanket product.

Requirements
Must have
- The logo should embody warmth and not feature more than 2 colors. The logo should be iconic and visually embody warmth because we are at our core a heat technology company. We have a strong logo for our mission generating side. This logo that you are designing will be for the parent company. The logo should be clearly distinguishable from competitive products that share the heat product/warming product shelf space as shown in the attached photos. Competitors for the topical heat therapy market include: Icy Hot, ACE, Bengay, ThermaCare, SalonPas, and SoftHeat.
Nice to have
- The Warmilu word logo could have a script font for the warm section and sans serif for the ilu. We are open to playing around with different combinations as well. What would be most ideal is a pictorial/word combination where you see an abstract pictorial logo that represents warmth and the word would be Warmilu. The pictorial/word combination logo is one that we believe would be nicest to have because we are a young emerging company and are building our branding. We would like to see orange and yellow hues in most of these designs...but we are open to part of the Warmilu name being red and just seeing what works best.
Should not have
- Our product does not get too hot. The design should not be cartoony. Do not include thermometers. Flames should be avoided; avoid purple and green and blue. Do not use a sun.
