Updates
Here are some definitions that we use. You may change the wording as you see fit, as long as the meaning is the same.
Modelling is to promote a product / brand / service in an advertisement, show, commercial or event.
Runway / Fashion Model – Walk the catwalk to promote clothing and accessories in a fashion show.
Most shows require the model to be tall and skinny. Model needs to strut with confidence and grace down the runway. Body shape more important than facial features.
Photography Model – Appear for Print Ads, Magazine Editorials, Posters, etc.
Height requirements are not as strict (or not present) as compared to Runway Model. Good features preferred, but not a must.
Video Model – Appear for TV commercials, Promotional Videos, etc.
Model needs to possess basic acting skills to promote the product, brand or service on video. Confidence and screen charisma more important than looks or body.
Events Model – Promote the product, brand or service during ‘live’ events and shows.
Model needs to be engaging and charismatic to ‘sell’ the product to customers.
