Logo Design Brief
Looking for a logo with and without name to identify with a new product. The product is an udder liner and casing that goes over a cows teat in the dairy parlor (on a claw of 4) to milk them. Traditional liners are opague (not see thru) black. Our product is the first ever CLEAR one made of polymers allowing the farmer to SEE the milking process for the first time ever. www.UdderOne.com
We're looking for a sophicated, edgy look… nothing too cartoon like. While I'm not ruling out cartoon style it would have to have clean elements. The owner likes blues in the shades closer to purples than whites. There is no color scheme set as of yet. But cows are black and white, grass green, milk white… but his invention is CLEAR. The website is a work in progress. We put everything into the development of this product and have very little left for design. We are in the last phase of research so it's not hit the market yet. Our target market is the farmers only so we're not trying to get the attention of the general public with sales. I have some thoughts but I don't want to not sway anyone from creative ideas for the first round. I do some graphic artwork myself but I'm stuck on this one. It's my husbands project so maybe I'm too close to the project and I admittedly am not a full time designer. We'd like the words UdderOne™ in the logo and logo alone too. Keys words that associate: Farm, cow, milk, pail, clear, liner, dairy, clean, udder, teat, see thru, etc. Feel free to throw in a catch phase that's not "clearly the best" or "your clear choice" or "the answer is clear". Udder1.com is also associated with us too. U1 could be a something interesting but my feeling is, UdderOne (which are the actual words emblazened on the clear liner and clear shell) needs to get ingrained first before we venture into shortening it to U1? But we're open.

Nice to have
- This is a new product with nothing so far associted with it. So we are a blank canvas. Steve, the inventor, likes blues and so far everyone is really pushing purple on us but I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Steve likes rich jewel-tone blues and yes dark purple is ok in that spectrum. But he is not commited to those colors if you have a better idea.
The inventor is looking for an Icon/Logo to go with UdderOne™
He doens't want reference to "spilled milk" as the invention is made to not spill a drop of milk... but he like the idea of trying to convey CLEAN, CLEAR, SEE-THRU and milk and cows. The invention goes on a cows udder/teat to milk it thru the automated process but this time the product is CLEAR not solid black like it's 50 years of predecessors. Thanks in advance if you're not too busy to give us a try.
Should not have
- Cartoon Cows, Comicbook style characters.
