Logo Design Brief
Launch a new company and to gain the niche in the Ghanaian fashion industry as the leading designer for kids – highlighting quality of design, materials and product. The logo should also stand out to diaspora and international clients – it should feel like a children’s clothing company from Africa rather than an African clothing company. Africa does not need to be directly displayed within the design.
Our products will be high quality materials, with a mix of block colour and African prints. Fresh, summery, fun, colourful. Designed for parents wanting their kids to come across as expressive and stylish. http://www.vlisco.com/ is a good reference point for the type of materials and cloth that will be used.

Reason: Life is crazy busy at the moment and due to a few family emergencies we haven't been able to sit down and develop some of the fantastic submissions!

- Are there any production considerations? Ideally the logo would work as a monochrome version as well as a colour version.
How will the logo be reproduced? embroidery, screen printing. It will also be used on digital media and brochures.

Other: Wide logos will be at a disadvantage over compact and taller than wide – but open to be surprised.
Images / colours? An Adinkra symbol (http://www.adinkra.org/htmls/adinkra_index.htm) (http://www.creativeroots.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/symbols.jpg) should not be used directly but their style, presence could be incorporated (like with the logo attached (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k10_UeP_Okc/TqOM2IZG1GI/AAAAAAAAIE4/fOA6wTwGdsw/s1600/duaba+90.jpg ). The colours do not have to be typically African, if used they could be pastel versions. The map of Africa should not be included!
