I'm starting up a new aftermarket car parts website - a marketplace for car parts that people use to modify their car after purchase. The name is Afteride. I need a logo design for the company.
We are aiming to bring a high end feel to the aftermarket car parts marketplace. Instead of your standard auto parts online store, think of high-end fashion and home goods sites.
We're targeting primarily males, but our demographics are wider than that and can reach just about any demo segment.
I'm looking for a new logo - one that can be represented in black and white, and that could have a separate mark to represent the business.
We do not currently have any designs - we're starting with the logo. So no color combo is off limits - although as I mentioned, I want to follow classic logo design and the logo be able to be represented only in black and white.
What I'd like to avoid: obvious car marks (such an outline of a car) - I'm looking for new, fresh and a bit male.
I'm willing to look at typographic treatments, lettermark logos and abstract marks attached to typography.

Requirements
Must have
- Only one must have: the logo must be able to represented in black and white.
Nice to have
- Some sort of mark representing the idea that can help the logo standout.
Should not have
- I don't want to see obvious car mark references such as the outline of a car.
I don't want to see references to specific parts of a car either - no wheels, engine, etc. - we cover all parts of a car so any reference to a particular part could hold us back.
