Logo Design Brief
We require design concepts for the refreshing of the branding for an award winning local construction company. We are looking to modernise the brand.
Armstrong Downes has a strong reputation for excellence in the area and is approaching an operating milestone, and so is refreshing their name and their positioning statement.
We will require a high quality finish ready to use on all online and offline marketing material. In particular, the logo must look good in large written tender documents and on site signage.
You will find the current branding attached and you should use the existing logo in all submissions. However, feel free to manipulate the logo to give it the more modern look we are after.
There should only be 3 components in any submission:
• The name: Armstrong Downes Commercial
• The logo element
• The positioning statement: We’re listening
Other notes:
• Please use at least one of the existing current brand colours, and add no more than 1 extra colour if desired. We do not want to see red or yellow
• We need to be able to separate the elements
• We want to see 'Armstrong Donwes' and 'Commercial' with one constant factor- whether that be the colour or the font. And we don't want to see 'Commercial' too much smaller than 'Armstrong Downes'.
• We like the look of softer fonts for 'We're listening.'
