Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for company based in Vermont called 'Hidden Creek'. We build and sell High Quality, Artisan Crafted, Wooden Outdoor Products directly to consumers. Our best selling (but not only) items are birdhouses, but we have other products, so don't focus on birds. The design should communicate "Authentic, High Quality, Craftsmanship" - a product built the way products used to be built. I would like to evoke a touch of nostalgia for an established company feeling, but with a more modern treatment. The LOGO is mainly intended to go the product carton packaging.
For Logo Text - 'Hidden Creek' is primary. Would also like to see a few treatments for 'Hidden Creek Artisans'.

Reason: Nearing the end of the first round . . . some really outstanding designs, many very different. Thank you all for great submissions. Our partners live on the east and west coasts of the US, so we'll need some to discuss. I've added time so we can narrow down our final selections, and consider whether we need any minor adjustments.
