Logo Design Brief
We are a medical training college and the professional organisation that trains and accredits specialist physicians in the discipline of Sport and Exercise Medicine in Australia and New Zealand. The College was founded in 1984 and the logo has not been updated since. A complete change of logo would probably be unacceptable to the membership but it does now need to be modernised. That's one of the tasks.
The other is that our specialist group is asking for some sort of image that they can use on their letterheads, practices, business cards etc that denotes their affiliation with the College. The College's council is anxious that any such image must not take the form of an endorsement which would be inappropriate in a medical environment where the practitioners work in independent privately owned practices, rather than in hospitals. That's the second task.
