Logo Design Brief

I have recently started a New Business Called "Lane 1 Projects" based in Newcastle NSW Australia. It's a project Management business for Retail and Commercial Construction Projects. I chose this name because Lane 1 is typically the shortest and most direct distance to the finish line on a running track. I want the logo to be bold, sleek and eye catching indicating High Performance. I would like a central part of the logo to be a Bold #1 with an Australian Flag inside the number. I have shown a draft example in the file attached for reference of the look and feel id like to go for.
