Logo Design Brief

I’m looking for a logo and card design for my small, home-based dog grooming business, Tidy Paws Studio.

I’m looking for something clean, simple, charming, and slightly upscale/boutique. I want the logo to feel warm and approachable while still looking polished and professional. I prefer a design that is relatively minimal rather than busy or overly detailed, and I do not want it to look cartoonish.
For the imagery, I’m envisioning the business name paired with a simple hand-drawn/line-art style white curly or fluffy dog, ideally a Bichon Frisé. One idea I particularly like is having the dog’s paw pad/paw reach or peek slightly forward as part of the design.
I’m open to the designer’s interpretation and would love to see creative variations on this concept. The dog illustration should feel elegant and artistic rather than like a generic cartoon dog.

* Easy to read at smaller sizes
* I would like the logo to work well in both color and black/white

The logo will be used for business cards, signage, social media, my website, and other business materials, so I’d like something versatile that will still look good when reproduced at different sizes.

I’m looking for a logo that feels personal, tasteful, cozy, and professional, rather than a typical generic pet-store or cartoon grooming logo.
