Label Design Brief

We need a retail label design for a new meat product. We are an artisan smallgoods producer.

See the attached WDBN file for our generic label design used across all products.
We're looking to create a custom product label - we may reuse this template for our other retail products later.
I've included a rough ChatGPT-generated design as a brief/reference for key info only - please disregard the 80x140mm measurements shown in that image.

Label size: 70mm x 120mm

Must include:
- Our logo
- Product name: Irish Black Pudding
- Pack size: Net Wt. 290g
- Barcode (attached) - needs a white background so it scans correctly
- Thermal print box for: Used by date (please leave adequate space for us to print the date)
- Product image: include if it fits well within the layout; not essential if space is tight
- Country of origin: COOL 95% - please include the official Australian "Kangaroo in Triangle" Country of Origin logo/mark, not just text
- Nutrition panel: values per 100g and per serving. Servings per pack: 2.9 (based on the 290g pack size). Ingredients list exactly as shown on the attached product spec.
- Key info text: Cooked Manufactured Product - Cook Before Consumption - Keep Refrigerated below 4°C
- Our address: 12/40 Port Pirie Street, Bibra Lake, WA 6163

Brand direction: Our logo (attached) must be used and should remain clearly legible — this is non-negotiable. Our current label style (see attached WDBN generic label PDF) uses a black panel with the Eurostyle script logo, "smallgoods butcher" tagline, and a red accent band — we'd like the new design to stay true to this look and feel, so it's still clearly recognisable as Eurostyle on shelf. That said, we're open to a slight modern refresh within that identity — updated typography, spacing, or layout tweaks — rather than an exact replica. We're not looking for a completely different visual direction, just a fresher take on our existing brand.

This label will become the master template for 5–10 other Eurostyle smallgoods products, so please design it as a reusable system with clearly defined swappable areas (product name, pack photo/imagery, weight, nutrition panel) rather than a one-off. Please deliver final files as an editable source file (AI/PSD/INDD) in addition to print-ready PDF, so we can adapt it for future products ourselves.
