Logo Design Brief

We need a clean, modern logo and icon for ICOS, a product built around documents that get checked and approved. ICOS sits in the iGaming compliance and licensing space, so the mark should feel trustworthy and precise, closer to a financial or regulatory tool than a consumer app.

Three things must appear in the design. A document icon, the word ICOS in capitals, and a green tick that signals acceptance.

The detail that matters most is the letter I. We want the I in ICOS to read as negative space inside the document icon, so the page and the first letter become one shape. The word then reads as the document standing in for the I, followed by C, O, S, with the green tick sitting on or beside the O. Lead with this idea. If you have a stronger idea please show it as a second option alongside the negative space version. We are prepared to be led if the idea is excellent.

Keep it simple. A plain page with a single folded corner, an even geometric sans for the wordmark, and a tick that still reads when the whole thing is shrunk down. Please name the typeface you use.
