# Design Brief — Henry North LinkedIn Banners
## Overview
Henry North is a US-based specialist recruiting agency for the material handling equipment and industrial automation industry. We need two on-brand LinkedIn banners designed to a finished, ready-to-upload standard. We have a complete brand book and all logo files (provided). A reference mockup of the intended layout is included — please match the concept and elevate the execution.
## Deliverables
1. **Company Page banner** — 1128 × 191 px
2. **Personal Profile banner** — 1584 × 396 px
For each, deliver:
- Editable source file (Figma, AI, or PSD)
- High-res PNG export at exact pixel dimensions (sRGB)
- A second PNG of each with no text (background + logos only), for future reuse
## Brand Specifications (from our brand book — provided)
- **Primary navy:** `#192B47`
- **Accent blue:** `#3D8AFF`
- **Signature gradient:** `#192B47 → #3D8AFF`
- **Secondary (use sparingly):** purple `#8958FE`
- **White:** `#FFFFFF`
- **Typeface:** Poppins — Bold for headlines, Regular/Medium for body
- **Backgrounds:** navy or white only (per brand guidelines)
- **Brand pattern:** the "Hi" brandmark, tiled — use subtly as background texture, never busy
## Assets Provided
- Brand book PDF (colors, type, safe areas, logo rules)
- Henry North logo — full color + all-white versions (parent company)
- American Automation Techs logo — color + white (subsidiary)
- American Forklift Techs logo — color + white/yellow (subsidiary)
- MHI and MHEDA logos (industry associations we belong to)
- Two reference mockups (the approved layout direction)
## Logo Hierarchy & Messaging
- **Henry North** is the parent brand — most prominent.
- **American Automation Techs** and **American Forklift Techs** are operating companies under the Henry North umbrella — label them "Our Companies."
- **MHI** and **MHEDA** are associations we belong to — label them "Proud Members Of." Their logos are dark marks on black; place each inside a small **white rounded "chip"** so they read cleanly on the navy background and keep their official colors.
### Approved copy
**Company banner**
- Headline: "Recruiting top talent, from technicians to executives"
- Subline: "Material Handling · Industrial Automation · Aftermarket"
**Personal banner**
- Headline: "Experts in recruiting top talent"
- Subline: "Material Handling · Industrial Automation · Industrial Services & Equipment"
## Layout Direction
**Company (1128 × 191):** Navy gradient background. Henry North white logo on the left. Center: headline (white) with a short blue accent rule, subline beneath. Right side, in a tidy column: "Our Companies" (Automation Techs + Forklift Techs marks) above "Proud Members Of" (MHI + MHEDA chips). Keep all of it cleanly separated with thin dividers.
**Personal (1584 × 396):** Same navy system. Henry North white logo top-right. Headline + subline anchored to the right/center. "Proud Members Of" and "Our Companies" along the bottom-right. Subtle "Hi" brand pattern in the open upper-left.
## CRITICAL — LinkedIn Safe Zones (must follow)
- **Company banner:** LinkedIn overlays the page logo as a square over the **bottom-left corner** (~150 px). Keep all logos and text clear of that zone.
- **Personal banner:** the **profile photo circle** sits over the **bottom-left** (~160 px diameter, straddling the bottom edge). Keep that area empty. Also note LinkedIn crops the sides on mobile — keep key content away from the far edges.
## File Delivery
- Exact pixel dimensions, sRGB, optimized PNGs (under ~1 MB each).
- Editable source files with fonts and logos as live, named layers.
- Keep logos as vectors where possible; do not stretch, recolor, rotate, or add effects to any logo (see brand book "Wrong Usage").
## Notes
- Tone: professional, confident, industrial — not flashy.
- Do not alter the association logos beyond placing them on white chips.
- Reference mockups show the target; feel free to refine spacing and polish.

Requirements
Must have
- Henry North logo, American forklift logo, american automation logo, MHI logo, MHEDA logo, a sentence or statement about us being recruiters
Nice to have
- I want the Henry North logo to be the biggest logo and i want to use the gradient blue and white logo. I'd prefer to have a navy backdrop with a translucent map of north america or something that feels industrial. I want the American Forklift Tech and American Automation Tech logos to be the same size and I want to use their colored logos. I want it to be just a tad bit smaller than the Henry North Maine logo. The smallest logos should be the MHI and MHEDA logos and I want it to say "proud partners" of those two logos since they are associations and not our logos.
