T-shirt Design Brief

We are looking for a premium, wearable t-shirt graphic centered around a local Hawai‘i chicken (rooster) with a surf lifestyle theme.

Concept:

The idea is a “Dawn Patrol Chicken” — inspired by the wild chickens found throughout Hawai‘i.

This chicken represents:

The first one awake
The first one checking the surf
Quiet mornings before the crowds
Surfing for the feeling, not attention

Think of him as the local surfer who is always there before sunrise.

Authentic surf culture
Hawai‘i inspired
Slightly playful but still cool
Vintage surf / hand-drawn feel
Wearable for adults (not childish)
IMPORTANT:

Please DO NOT make this cartoonish, goofy, touristy, or overly funny.

We are NOT looking for:

Kids cartoon graphics
Loud Hawaiian tourist-shirt designs
Silly mascot branding
Cheap/comedic style artwork

We ARE looking for:

Tasteful line art
Vintage surf illustration
Premium apparel aesthetic
A design that someone would actually wear daily
