Boutique M&A Advisory Brand Logo Design — Stone & Co
Logo Design Brief
We’re launching Stone & Co, a boutique M&A advisory firm using AI and modern technology to disrupt traditional M&A advisory. We work with owner-managed businesses (£1m-£30m revenue) on sell-side, buy-side and strategic transactions. We’re positioning ourselves as the antithesis of the old-school banking model — entrepreneurial, technology-enabled, partner-led.
What we’re looking for:
A logo mark that reflects this positioning. We want something that looks modern and forward-thinking — not a traditional finance aesthetic. The mark should feel contemporary, premium and bold. It can be:
∙ A geometric S or SC mark (constructed, angular with subtle curves)
∙ An abstract X or cross-shaped mark (representing intersection, acceleration, momentum)
∙ Any icon-based concept that embodies growth, acceleration, excellence and forward motion
The mark should work standalone at all scales (website to favicon) and ideally be extractable as a secondary graphic device for use as dividers, highlights or motion graphics across the brand.
Dark/light contrast preferred. No gradients, no soft edges, no illustrative elements. Timeless, not trendy.
