Logo Design Brief

We need to create a sister brand to Astro Hire (see uploaded files) for Astro Hydraulic Supplies. Looking for a new logo and brand style guide. Hoping we can keep some of the same elements that the Astro Hire logo has, particularly the round 'A' but maybe modernise it or change the colour and rather than using the excavator boom and bucket to create the 'A' we could use a hydraulic hose? Any ideas welcome
