Signage Design Brief
I’m looking to develop a refined, professional site notice sign for National Building Remediation to be used across active projects.
The intent is to communicate that works are underway, while maintaining a premium, calm and considered presentation — more aligned with architectural/consultant-level communication rather than typical construction signage.
Objective
Create a reusable site notice sign that:
Clearly communicates remedial works are in progress
Sets expectations around noise, access and disruption
Feels professional, understated and well-designed
Reinforces our positioning as licensed, experienced specialists
Format
Size: 900mm (H) x 600mm (W) – portrait
Suitable for:
A-frame boards
Temporary hoarding
Entry points to buildings
Design Direction
We are aiming for something:
Minimal and architectural
Clean typography (no clutter)
Strong hierarchy, easy to read from a distance
Balanced white space
Subtle, not loud or “safety sign” looking
Think:
High-end construction / architecture firm
Strata / residential friendly
Calm, controlled messaging
Branding
Use National Building Remediation logo (attached)
Colour palette:
Predominantly black / charcoal / white
