dear designers, thank you all for your hard work and submissions! the response was overwhelming, I received nearly double the amount of designs expected. two suggestions for many of you who didn't make the shortlist of my project, I hope this feedback will help you to be more successful in future projects.

1. read the brief carefully! I received numerous logo styles which were not a credible attempt to visualise the briefing. for example, I selected two preferred logo styles: 'pictoral/combination logo' or 'abstract logo'. yet I received very many 'Wordmark logos' and 'Emblem logos'.
2. always write a short explanation about your design. why did you come up with what you sent me? of course, a logo should not need too much explanation - in fact, the winning design had none. but still, nearly all of the logos that were submitted with a description of the design/explanation of the ideas behind the design made it to my shortlist.

thank you once again, and I wish you all the best with future projects. all going well, I might be calling on your services in the future, when I work with my own clients to create or improve their branding!
