Logo Design Brief

Project Overview:
I’m looking for a modern, professional logo for my business, West Shore Floors, based in Western Australia. The logo should feel clean, premium, and coastal, and be suitable for signage, vehicles, social media, and uniforms.

Design Direction:

Minimalist and modern style with a coastal / ocean-inspired feel.

I initially considered incorporating shark jaws around the business name, but I’ve decided to move toward a more minimalist and professional look.

The logo does not need to directly represent flooring — the coastal vibe is more important.

Typography & Style:

Modern, bold, easy-to-read typography.

Clean lines and balanced layout.

Avoid overly playful, busy, or cartoon-style designs.

Additional Notes:

I’ve attached a reference image I found online that I like the style of. This is for inspiration only — I’m very open to your own creative ideas and interpretations.

The goal is for the logo to stand out, feel high-quality, and look professional across all uses.

The logo should work well in both colour and black & white, and on light or dark backgrounds.
