Web Design Brief
Need our website overhauled to be updated so it aligns better with our current cliental. We have competitors to compare to. The purpose of the site has changed and is no longer sales based. This site needs to qualify us and allow consultants and engineers to just discover our background and differentiators. I have attached a company profile from a recent project to provide a better idea. This profile is directed towards the specific project however so that would need to be edited out. Competitor websites that we would want to be comparable to would include: https://www.chandos.com/ , https://carverconstruction.ca/ , https://www.wireconstruction.ca/ , https://professionalexcavators.com/ , https://www.everestconstruction.ca/. These are all competitors so nothing can be directly copied. I have attached our logo's however I don't think they need to be directly used on the site or maybe they need to be changed to not include color etc. We need to have a more professional look and these colorful logos are hard to pull that off with other than maybe the all gold SGE prime contracting logo with a rich dark green background or something. Green has been our main color over the years and the leaf follows us as the core item in logos. Go with a gold leaf look or something. Our main focus is General Contracting (Prime Contracting) and civil construction. We are a home builder however we would do a second website for that so we don't want to include it. I don't mind a ton of generic civil and general contractor information etc on the site. I don't really need a portfolio of pictures showing on the site but job history etc is very common in the industry and that information can be found in the company profile attached. First Nation work is a big part of our portfolio but we have worked in mining, industrial, oil and gas as well. Municipal sewer and water is our main focus for civil construction though and is a big part of our First Nation work as well.

Requirements
Must have
- A rich high end professional look. This company completes government work and is often looked at by executives. A menu that includes About, Our Work, Methodology, Join Our Team and Contact
Nice to have
- Some generic general pictures of municipal underground water work and general contractor building work. I am looking for a rich green darker greens where it matters but with more real world feel overall. So images and movement is good. Civil underground water and sewer, storm water, retention ponds, and process plant and electrical (such as water treatment plants), background imagery is good to have. I like to have things faded out in the background more than in your face.
Should not have
- brighter colors.
