Logo Design Brief

The cottonmouth mocasin is a snake indiginous to the south and southeastern part of the United States. I manufacture hats in the US and want to create an individual brand that we sell hats and t shirts, as well as other items. I would like to be able to place the logo under other logos thacould be embroidered on hast and printed on other items. Ideally I would like one portion of the logo to be iconic so it could be broken out and used as a stand alone symbol that signifies the brand. Think of the swoosh for Nike, when you see it you think Nike.
