Logo Design Brief

I want a logo similar to the one I have with an operator sitting on a bore machine, with the American flag theme i generated the current one with ai but i need it to be cleaner to use on a vinyl decal with proper svg. I'm open to new ideas too.

A little bit of information about my company, we are a small family owned Underground Utility Contractor based in Mount Vernon, Ia. I want to use the logo to grab more customers and stand out from the rest.

Being a small family owned business that is just starting to brand their business, I need a logo that defines what kind of work we do so when people see it they will think "Hey that's a directional boring company, I need to have a waterline bored from my house to my shop, I should take down their number"

The decals will be going on white trucks, and multitude different colored trailers and machinery. I really want it to pop and grab attention.
