Pinehurst Turf Pros is a veteran-owned artificial turf design and installation company based in North Carolina, proudly serving residential, commercial, and municipal clients across the southeastern United States.
What began as a small, veteran-led business in Pinehurst has grown into one of the Southeast’s most trusted names in synthetic turf — now operating throughout NC, SC, TN, VA, WV, PA, OH, KY, and GA.
Our values are simple: Integrity, Teamwork, and Craftsmanship. Every project reflects the pride and professionalism of a company built on those principles.
Project Overview
We’re looking to refresh our existing logo, not completely replace it.
This is an evolution, not a rebrand — the new design should remain recognizable while improving balance, readability, and overall professionalism.
Our current logo includes:
The words Pinehurst Turf Pros
A pine tree integrated into the “P”
An outline of the state of North Carolina
A smooth, turf-like swoosh or underline
We’d like to refine this foundation to better represent our growth across the entire southeastern U.S. while maintaining the same familiar look and color palette.
Design Objectives
Equal-Sized Lettering
All words — Pinehurst Turf Pros — should appear in equal-sized, balanced lettering using a clean, modern sans-serif font.
No single word should dominate. The typography should feel cohesive, strong, and easy to read at any scale.
Remove Golf References
Remove the golf ball inside the “O” and eliminate any golf-related imagery (tees, flags, putting greens, etc.).
We serve diverse markets beyond golf and want the brand to reflect that.
Keep Core Elements
Pine Tree: Retain the pine tree — a timeless symbol of nature, growth, and resilience.
Geographic Shape: Keep the state outline but feel free to expand it to represent the entire Southeastern U.S. instead of just North Carolina.
Turf Swoosh: Maintain or simplify the smooth, turf-like swoosh to preserve continuity and visual flow.
Color Palette
Please maintain our established colors:
Bright Lime Green: #7FFF00
Deep Forest Green: #003300
Black: for background contrast or outlines
These colors should stay bold, vibrant, and easy to recognize.
Style & Feel
Modern, bold, and clean
Easy to read and scalable for trucks, uniforms, signage, and digital use
Professional but friendly — representing craftsmanship, trust, and veteran integrity
Balanced and timeless — strong enough to stand alone or work in monochrome
Creative Direction
“Regarding the logo matter, I am willing to move toward a compromise. Specifically, I propose that all words of ‘Pinehurst Turf Pros’ appear in equal-sized lettering. In addition, I will redesign my logo and would even be willing to remove the golf ball from it.”
Designers should treat this as a refinement, not a reinvention.
Keep the layout, colors, and spirit of the current logo intact while improving typography, symmetry, and overall polish.
