Redesign the Skid and Stone LLC website to create a visually appealing, mobile-optimized, and high-converting platform built on Squarespace. The current site was not initially designed for Squarespace, resulting in suboptimal layout, limited optimization, and missed lead generation opportunities. The new design should reflect the company’s brand identity — professional, trustworthy, and service-driven — while adhering to web design best practices that maximize usability, SEO performance, and conversion rates.
Objectives
• Migrate and rebuild the website in Squarespace using a responsive, modern template optimized for performance and SEO.
• Enhance visual appeal through professional imagery, balanced color palettes, consistent typography, and brand alignment with the existing logo and visual assets.
• Streamline navigation for clear, intuitive access to core services (e.g., Driveway Repair, Brush Removal, Harley Raking, Forestry Mulching, Dump Trailer Services, Lawn Prep).
• Increase lead generation by improving CTAs, simplifying quote requests, and adding strong calls-to-action across all pages.
• Improve site performance through optimization of images, loading speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Incorporate SEO and analytics tools to track visitor engagement and identify lead sources.
Scope of Work
1. Design and Layout
• A design optimized for service-based businesses.
• Create a cohesive layout emphasizing before-and-after visuals of completed work.
• Integrate consistent branding, including company logo, color scheme, and fonts.
• Include high-resolution photography and optional background video (if available).
• Ensure all pages are mobile-friendly.
2. Content and Structure
• Reorganize site architecture to improve navigation:
o Home
o Services (individual subpages for each service, and be able to showcase before and after photos)
o About Us
o Service Area
o Testimonials
o Contact / Request a Quote
• Rewrite or refine existing copy for clarity, SEO, and lead generation focus.
• Include localized keywords (e.g., Pickens, Gilmer, Cherokee, Dawson, Fannin, Gordon County, GA). I can add cities to the list if that will increase site visits.
3. Lead Generation Enhancements
• Add an integrated quote request form with an automated email response.
• Incorporate click-to-call and click-to-message functionality.
• Add clear call-to-action buttons throughout the site (e.g., “Get a Free Estimate,” “Call 770-375-1036,” “Book Now”).
• Embed social media links and live feeds from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Nextdoor.
The business will provide all photos and videos.
