Graphic Design Brief

Fieldview Farms is a family-run farm in Queensland, Australia producing premium teas, honey, fruits, and fresh produce. Our tea range is built around the themes of farm-to-cup authenticity, Aussie bush identity, and rustic-meets-modern design. We want packaging that feels natural, premium, and honest — reflecting our farm story while standing out on retail shelves.
Design Style
Rustic meets modern → earthy tones with clean, premium layout.
Base: kraft-paper effect or natural textures to emphasise authenticity.
Colour coding by tea type (e.g., deep red for English Breakfast)
Floral/botanical accents → subtle line illustrations or watercolour-style elements tied to each blend (roses, wattleseed, lavender, lemongrass, etc.).
Key Elements to Include
Fieldview Farms Tea logo (supplied).
Hero tagline: “Our farm to your cup. Naturally.”
Tea name + short product description.
Weight (e.g., 100g loose leaf / 20 tea bags).
Side and back panel space for farm story, ingredients, and brewing instructions.
Barcode + compliance info space.
Mood/Inspirations
Premium but approachable (think T2 meets Pukka, with a rustic Australian twist).
Should reflect farm authenticity but also feel modern enough for supermarkets and online retail.
Shelf presence: cohesive range that works as a collection but each SKU distinct.
Deliverables
Packaging design for one master template, use English Breakfast from the 'pantry range' as the template design (box format).(Height: 12.9 cm × Width: 8.5 cm × Depth: 5 cm)
Colour/floral variations across 8 SKUs.
Print-ready files with dielines + mockups.

Requirements
Must have
  • Logo & Tagline: Must feature the Fieldview Farms logo + tagline “Our farm to your cup. Naturally.” Packaging Template: Design a tea box template that works across 8 blends (English Breakfast, Farmhouse Breakfast, Earl Grey, Red Dust Revive, Billabong Calm, Outback Chai, Vital Energy, Sleep Easy). Colour Coding: Each blend should have its own distinct colour palette but remain cohesive as a collection. Botanical Elements: Subtle floral/botanical illustrations tied to each tea (e.g., rose for English Breakfast, chamomile for Calm, wattleseed for Red Dust, lavender for Sleep Easy). Typography: Premium serif/slab serif for tea names; clean sans-serif for descriptions and details. Rustic-Meets-Modern Style: Kraft paper undertones, earthy textures, premium but approachable look. Information Areas: Tea name + short description Net weight (e.g., 100g / 20 bags) Ingredients & brewing instructions Farm story (side/back panel) Barcode & compliance space Deliverables: Print-ready files with dielines (AI/PDF) Mockups showing front + side + back panels Editable layered source files for future SKUs
Nice to have
  • Spot Foil / Embossing Suggestions → highlight logo, tea names, or botanical accents with metallic foil (gold, copper) or embossing for a premium finish. Range Icons / Symbols → small icons (e.g., sun, moon, leaf, flower) to visually represent each tea’s function (morning energy, calming, sleep, etc.). Storytelling Panel → a dedicated space for 2–3 lines about our farm story, paired with a hand-drawn farm sketch or landscape outline. Illustration Style Options → hand-drawn botanical sketches, watercolour effects, or line art that can be adapted across all blends. Giftability → design should also work well as a set/collection (e.g., side panels align to form a landscape when displayed together). Eco-Friendly Messaging → subtle callouts like “100% Australian Owned” or “Plastic-Free Packaging”. Seasonal Flexibility → design system that allows limited-edition teas (like Christmas blends or summer iced teas) to slot into the range without redesigning everything. Digital Mockups → lifestyle mockups (kitchen counter, farm table, shelf display) for marketing and online store visuals.
Should not have
  • Overly busy or cluttered designs → packaging must stay clean, premium, and easy to read on shelf. Generic stock imagery (teacups, steam swirls, random leaves) → we want original, farm-inspired illustration. Loud neon or artificial colours → palettes should be earthy, natural, or botanical with clear colour coding, not flashy. Cartoonish / childlike fonts or graphics → typography should feel premium, rustic, or elegant — not playful. Too much black → unless carefully balanced, heavy black backgrounds can feel harsh and off-brand. Trendy minimalist white-only designs → we need warmth, storytelling, and natural cues, not sterile packaging. Copycat designs → should not look like T2, Twinings, or supermarket generics. We want a unique Fieldview Farms identity. Overpowering logos or branding → logo and tagline should be prominent but not scream over the tea name/floral story.
