🎨 Design Guidelines
1. Overall Impression

Dignified, spiritual, timeless

Central focus on sand dunes with footsteps as the main motif

Mood: calm, light, spirituality, hope

2. Color Scheme

Background: warm sand tones (beige, golden, brown)

Light source (sun/beam): soft gold/white

Typography: gold or warm yellow, metallic effect preferred (gold foil in print)

Spine and back cover: darker gradient from sand tones to deep blue/black for strong readability

3. Imagery

Front cover: sand dunes with clear footsteps leading towards light/horizon

No figurative depictions of people

Optional: subtle Islamic ornaments or geometric borders as a background accent

4. Typography

Title: “Ṣaḥāba” → large, serif font, elegant, in gold

Subtitle: “Images of a Special Life” → smaller, clean & modern, also gold/white

Author: Abdur-Rahman Rahfat al-Bāsā → bottom of the front cover, smaller size

Spine: Title + Arabic word صحابة vertically placed, harmonized with the style

5. Back Cover

Short blurb/description (provided by client)

Highlighted keywords in large type: "Courage. Integrity. Faith."

ISBN + barcode at the bottom left

Background: continuation of the sand texture from the front cover (with or without footsteps)

6. Finishing Options (Print)

Gold foil stamping for the title

Matte cover with selective gloss (eg on the light or ornaments)
