Logo Design Brief
Sonora is a serene and exclusive retreat destination, specializing in yoga retreats, women’s circles, and wellness experiences deeply connected with nature. Our space is tranquil, surrounded by jungle, and designed for mindfulness, stillness, and inner harmony.
We’re looking for a minimalist and refined logo that communicates:
Calm, silence, and inner peace
Connection with nature
Clarity, balance, and well-being
A unique and conscious boutique experience
Design Requirements:
The logo may be typographic only, but we want one letter to have a distinctive feature (e.g., the “S” or the “O”) that can function as a standalone icon for small-scale uses like favicons or brand stamps.
It must be clean, modern, and intentional—every detail should serve a purpose.
Must be versatile and legible at all sizes.
If referencing the jungle or spirituality, it must be subtle and not cliché.
Please avoid:
Generic trees, mandalas, human silhouettes, animals, or yoga symbols
Decorative or hard-to-read fonts
Complex illustrations or gradients

Hi everyone,
First of all, my apologies for the long delay since June.
The project went through internal changes and strategic adjustments, which is why I never selected a final direction.
After reviewing everything again, we have decided to evolve the concept rather than launch the original brand idea.
We are now using this project to develop a brand refresh for an existing concept called Beach Break — a beach sports bar.
The prize remains the same, and any designer who wants to participate in this updated direction is welcome to submit.
New direction:
– Bold, thick lettering
– Strong visual presence
– Typography-focused
– Modern beach + sport attitude
– Clean and powerful
– Works well for signage, screens and merchandise
This is not a full rebrand from zero — it’s an evolution / strengthening of an existing logo.

We’ve updated the brief with clearer direction and references. We are now focusing on a bold, typography-driven refresh for Beach Break Sports Bar.
