Should the perspective be like in your example or a real top/bird's view?

1. Can you please make the project guaranteed.

2. Did I get you right ... all 16 islands shoud fit on a B1 board. Or should one island be B1 size?

Yes I woud prefer the perspective as in the example and not a real top view.

1. Please understand that this is my first project with designcrowd. I have no trouble in paying (as I allready did) but am unsure of what I will get. So for now I do not want to make the project guaranteed. If I get what I want - be sure that I will not back out.

2. Yes - all 16 islands should fit onto a B1. Something like this (not exactly simetrical but not far from it):

y        y       x           x

y       y       x            x

Think of 4 A3 put together (where y are islands on one A3).
Space between the islands is ocean which is later to be divided into sea-zones.
The coastal region of the island in the example (the shallower water arround the island) will also be 1 sea-zone. If for the sake of visual looks the shallower water would be visible only on one side of the island due to perspective - it does not matter that much as a line representing the sea zone will be drawn anyway.

Hi there,

I've just come across your project and would like to get started on some designs. Before I do can you tell me a little about your target market and how we should approach the look? ie if it's for children would you prefer a cartoon feel or is the example design closer to your expectations?

Thanks for taking the team to discuss this.

Hi,
thanks for your question.
target market 12+ (possibly 14+). Definetly not for young children and I would avoid a big cartoon feel (on a grade from 1-10 - somewhere arround 3-4)
I would like to avoid the 2 extremes - children look and overly serious look.
The example I have posted is actually really close to what I would like.
Think Port Royale 3 (video game from where this screenshot was taken), Pirates of the Caribbean (the movie), plenty of colour but without extremes (i.e. flashy yellow parrot).
If I can be of any more help please contact me.

Hi Anza,

Thanks for the quick detailed response. I'll get started on some research and be in touch with a design in a couple of days.

Inace sam likovni umjetnik i znam jako dobro crtati i slikati u svim likovnim tehnikama. Moj web portal je www.mreza.bbhmladi.com

A, evo vam i link gdje sam ucestvovao na izložbi sa najvecim imenima graficara (likovnih umjetnika) iz bivše Yuge.
