T-shirt Design Brief
I have art that is done for an event and I want to have a shirt done with that art adapted for a shirt design. As you can see the design now looks like a cheap transfer if it were to be printed. I want the art to have the same type of feel as my other designs that I will show you for reference.
The shirt colors will be lighter shades of green. I put a color chart and would be on the Chill, Parrott Green and Bayside colors.
I am attaching the PSD file of the art as well as the art that would be used for the front pocket or possibly another front placement maybe center chest or something different than just the normal pocket position.
Then finally, a document with some of my current shirt designs. I want the design that I sent you to be redone in a way that is more hand-drawn illustrated, rather than looking like clip art as it does now. Feel free to change the fonts if you want on the VW RAINFOREST FEST on the bottom. I would also want to take off the date banner that is across the upper part of the design. I have a lot of other VW art that I could send if it would help at all. As far as the number of colors, let me know what you think would be best. I probably wouldn't want more than 5 or 6 because of printing costs but am open to your input.
Target Market(s)
These are giveaways or to be sold at cost. They will be on comfort colors shirts so very good quality. I do not want the design to be too much ink so that it feels heavy. Notice on the background of most of my designs I just do a light background texture.
