T-shirt Design Brief

I need a design for a research lab group's t-shirts. The design should be a large illustration of the freshwater crustacean Daphnia, rendered in a steampunk style. The text "The Dudycha Lab" should appear somewhere in the design, but should not dominate the design. The design is going to be printed on the back of t-shirts that are forest green in color. The design should have or 3 or 4 colors.

Because most people don't know what Daphnia look like, I've attached some photos and an anatomy diagram
