Logo Design Brief

Ok - I'm looking for a simple yet memorable logo for the side of our golf hat line. We have the designs already for the front of the hat - a day of the dead style sugar skull to be the main artwork for the golf hats, but now we need 2 things:

1) Dead Bogeys Logo - day of the dead inspired, text based, minimalist plus maybe a flowery pattern? This will go inside the back of the hat. Our slogan is 'Go Low or Die Trying'

2) Abbreviated 'DB' logo - this will be the smaller initials / stamp that will go on the side of the hat. Should be more subtle, smaller, and say 'DB' in some fashion so people can recognize it stands for Dead Bogeys.
