Logo Design Brief
Company Background:
Baker is a diverse company with interests in technology, investments, and property. We require a flexible logo that represents modern professionalism, adaptability, and trust.
Logo Concept:
The primary logo should be a stylized wordmark of “Baker” or “baker.” It should be unique beyond just standard text but still clean and professional. This logo will be paired with division names such as:
Baker | Property
Baker | Investments
Baker | Consulting
The vertical bar “|” should be incorporated as a distinct separator, ensuring a consistent identity across divisions. We are open to ideas that use alternative separators of course.
Typography & Styling:
Modern and timeless font (sans-serif or serif with a contemporary touch).
Custom typographic elements are encouraged to make the wordmark unique.
Capitalization: Open to either "Baker" or "baker" depending on aesthetic appeal.
Logo Symbol (if any):
Should be abstract or minimalist, avoiding industry-specific imagery.
Must be usable independently as a standalone icon.
Color Palette:
Preferably monochrome or neutral for a timeless look.
Should be adaptable for light and dark backgrounds.
Scalability & Application:
Must be clear and legible at all sizes (from website headers to business cards).
Should work well in digital and print formats.
Other comment:
We like the idea of the Axe Capital logo (from the TV series Billions) where Axe is stylised, generic and re-usable, with "Capital" as simple text afterwards and easily replaceable.
