Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo for new company 'Dendrone' (a play on dendro - relating to trees, and drone). I like relatively simple designs, things that scale up and down well - the mark will be used on large print all the way down to being a favicon and so needs to be simple enough to be identifiable at those scales.
I don't have any strong colour preferences at this stage - maybe dark ivy green, slate grey.. The mark would also ideally look good in monochrome black/white.
