The logo should reflect both medical expertise in fracture care and the African context while remaining professional and culturally respectful. It should reflect our commitment to fracture care education in low resource settings in sub-Saharan Africa.
Colors:
- Primary colors: Suggest using a combination of:
- Deep blue (represents medical professionalism and trust)
- Forest or sage green (symbolizes healing and connection to Africa)
- Secondary/accent colors:
- Warm earth tones (ochre or terracotta) to represent the African landscape
- Consider incorporating one or two colors from the existing AO Alliance Foundation brand palette for consistency

Typography:
- Clean, modern sans-serif font that maintains legibility at various sizes
- Should work well in both digital and print applications
- Consider a complementary font pairing if text hierarchy is needed

Symbolic Elements to Consider:
- Subtle integration of medical symbols (perhaps an abstract bone or healing imagery)
- African cultural motifs or patterns (geometric designs common in East/Southern African art)
- Visual elements suggesting unity/connection (representing the partnership between medical expertise and local communities)

Technical Requirements:
- Logo should work in both horizontal and vertical layouts
- Must be scalable and recognizable at different sizes (from business cards to banners)
