Logo Design Brief

We are a cattle company that started in 2020. It is owned by myself (65), and my partner Cy (38). We both come from a line of cattle men. Both our fathers were in the cattle business, and we grew up around it and in it. We run a cow/calf operation, Mama cows raising calves. We take the heifer calf’s we like and keep them for future utility, and we take the balance of the calves and wean them and raise them to around 800 pounds to sell to feedyards. In addition, we purchase weaned calves from other cattlemen that would prefer to sell to an individual rather than run the cattle through the public sale barns that are in our region. Cattlemen do business with people they trust, like and have a good reputation. Once proven, word gets out and it's a very tight knit group, they know who they can do business with and who they cannot do business with. Our business has grown substantially, and we anticipate continued growth. We are local, but you can effectively buy weaned calves within about a 100-mile radius. After that it’s harder to compete and so many other options closer for producers to sell to. We need a bigger presence on social media, Cy my partner is on tik-took, and Facebook, instagram and he post a good bit, I post very little. I want to put signage on the farms we have so people recognize us and our brand. Cy Cattle Company. We need a good logo that I can use to make signs. We need to have a consistent logo for Social Media. I do not anticipate much in the way of cards or letters. We might do T shirts in future, or maybe even some mass mailouts in regions. I few promotional items if we think they are working for us. I do think the mailouts would work, we have used them in other business, and it's been successful. You can find Cy on Facebook. Logo is a good start. I have these 4 foot steel sawblades that you can put on a plasma cutter and make any logo or emblem you want. Colors don’t come into play on these, they are simply the logo and the type style and how you place Cy Cattle Company on the 48” round steel circle along with the Logo. I think its important to use the right type style or creative way to use Cy Cattle Company.
