Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a local pest control company based in Raleigh. We will specialize in general and structural pest control for primarily residential customers. I envision an acorn being part of the logo but I am open to other ideas. I am also open to different colors, however it will need to be able to match a dark blue pickup truck. I want the logo to communicate that we are local and professional.
