Logo Design Brief

The company name is Empire Technical Services and I have a drawing to use for inspiration. The company name is inspired by the game Age of Empires 2 so I want to create a logo inspired by 12th century time period but with a modern flare. The included photo is a good representation of what I'm looking for. The ampersand in the center of the shield should also infer the letter "E". While this drawing is inspirational, I'm open to ideas incorporating it but not exact. The colors should be Bronze and Blue.
