Logo Design Brief
We're looking for a logo to be used for a 3D printing livestream, "Print and Chill 3D". We're a new business who will be 3D printing and livestreaming the feed from the 3D printer while playing a variety of music in vaporwave, outrun, dungeon synth, and future funk genres.
The general vibe and inspiration should be taken from the thought of relaxing or zoning out to music and the slow process of a 3d printed item coming together. LoFi Girl meets How Its Made.
For the logo, we are considering a cartoon bear head in the process of being printed. The logo should have a circular design, and the bear should be cute and simple (more Hello Kitty, less PIXAR) but should be something that could conceivably be modeled and 3D printed. The process of printing with filament is a layer by layer process that slowly builds an object, but filament print lines leave a distinct wavy pattern, please see the texture of the reference image "grogu" attached. Please make note of filament print lines and incorporate them into the design, perhaps reminiscent of a classic 80s/Outrun Sunset image (see attached samples), while drawing inspiration from the Sphere logo attached image, the old circular At&T logo, and even the IBM logo which is comprised of print lines.
In terms of color, as long as the logo is also capable of being represented in black and white, we are open to any vibrant and fun palette of the colors of your choosing. We are also open to a 3D effect (blue/magenta/black).
To summarize -
- Circular logo (Youtube and Instagram icon appropriate)
- A Hello Kitty-esque cartoon bear being printed
- Take inspiration from the thought of something being printed layer by layer, the lines in the IBM logo, the sphere of the AT&T Logo, 80s outrun sunsets, and the WAVY LINES created by filament printing (see the texture in the image tagged "grogu")
- The bear head should be able to serve as a mascot and something that can be made into a 3D printable object
- We are open to a Black/Magenta/Blue 3D effect logo
