Logo Design Brief

I am in need of a logo design for a dog day care business. The name is "The Social Sniff". I would like to keep the logo black and white and attached you will find an image of a concept for the word SNIFF. I would like to do something similar either include a Silhouette of a dog in the letter I or maybe a nose in the N possibly a paw. Id also like to add the look of a dog house or maybe just the roof of it to the logo. There is another image showing to orientations for the shape of the logo. Feel free to add your own concepts and desgins.
