Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for rebranding. We have been around for nearly 70 years. We are a Faith Based camp with 450 acres of beautiful and diverse natural landscapes. We are all about creating connection. Creating a space where our campers and groups can connect with each other, with God, with nature and within themselves. We want them to feel at home here and welcome to return here. Nature and caring for nature is a large part of what we do. We think our logo should incorporate elements of nature, especially a maple leaf, we produce our own maple syrup. We have a maple leaf as the "a" in camp, and I do love that. We also want it to find ways to suggest elements of connection and community. I would also be interested in a subtle way to show we are a religious organization if possible. But nothing too overt, if we have a blatant cross we cannot advertise in schools. I'm open to the color palette. Please no mountains. We have plenty of rolling hills, trees, a lake. But we don't have mountains. We are also very much drawn to the idea of people around a campfire to portray the idea of community and connection. We are also drawn to the idea of a counselor and campers around a campfire. I would like to see variations on that. As well as some logos that are nature centric. We are currently playing with tag lines. Deciding between "Reconnecting with Nature, Faith and Yourself", "Nature, Faith and Community Await", and "Connecting Community through Nature and Faith".
