Hi.
Could you please elaborate on the brief?

What do you think of a fun style? I would like at least a couple of examples. One person is happy with "Melody Tunes", another with "Alfred Hitchcock", you know)
A lark...Is it important to you? It's just that on the one hand it's a memory, on the other - an old picture) It's up to you to decide what it is.
And the last question. You wrote that you will paint it yourself, how do you imagine the design and painting to match? If it's just straight lines - that's fine. Masking tape and a spray gun - and you're done. But complex lines - curved, broken...how do you imagine that?
Vinyl, of course, saves the day, but what to do with patterns? A real drawing with real physical dimensions is needed.
Please, don't think it's too difficult and answer these questions. They are dictated by experience, which you may not have.

Hey, Thanks for the questions. Fun style I guess just be creative. I don't need it to be just simple. Having the lark head blown up large on the tail or something outside the box. I guess I Just meant to be creative and don't be afraid to make it bold. The plane is called the Aero Commander Lark. So that's the only significance of the Lark.

As far as the painting of difficult patterns and such -yes, vinyl can be utilized for some of it. I understand that the real physical dimensions would be best. I can try to get some today or tomorrow.

You're welcome. These questions are dictated by experience. I made decals and liveries for cars. Why not try with planes) Especially since I've always wanted to.
But about creativity) Here you are stepping on very thin ice)) Be careful! A shot down Santa on the fuselage or a plane in the style of Hello Kitty or Pokemon is funny, but do you really need it?)
If it's not too much trouble, it would be better to add images of the style you like to the briefing. This will make it much easier for you to make something that will please your eyes every time you look at your "lark").

Excuse me, will there be any comments? Anything else to suggest? Something brighter, simpler, more complex? Or have you already decided and can I congratulate you?

While I was drawing the livery, this is what I thought of.
It wouldn't hurt you to tell us at least a little about yourself, your tastes and preferences. Perhaps there is something you would like to see on your plane. After all, it is a personal thing. It can be personalized without looking back at trends or generally accepted frameworks.

I apologize. This is my first time trying this process. I really like your designs! I think they are clean and attractive!
